Outback Oasis Framed Textured Print 120x90cm

Painting light filtering through foliage is harder than painting the foliage itself, and it's what gives this landscape its stillness. Outback Oasis Framed Textured Print 120x90cm shows a shallow watering hole winding through sun dappled outback, tall trees on both banks filtering warm light down onto the water. The creek reflects soft greens, creams and muted blues, while earthy sand and stone tones line the banks. Hand painted texture over the canvas base adds physical depth. At 120x90cm it's a large format piece, peaceful and impressionistic rather than sharply detailed.
